The following report was received from our Course Superintendent Stewart

"We have cleared away the gorse and brambles from the ditch on the second as it had become blocked with debris.   Hopefully it will speed things up. General grass cutting has been done but next week we are deep scarifying  the 1st 7th 9th and also temporary 9 if we have enough sand we will do more but it is a special dry mix to aid drainage and very expensive so we are concentrating on the wetter greens. We have more of the mix coming to top dress the remaining greens next week but this is not dry so we will be doing that ourselves The tee mats will be staying out until we get sustained recover for the wear on the tee boxes. Fairways are being spiked  as I text you which helps with aeration and decompaction. The paving on the veranda is almost finished, we are held up waiting for the railings and the rain has held up the top soiling of the repairs to the surrounds. With luck the weather might hold long enough for us to finish it out"
