Captains Emily and Jim's gala dinner held in the clubhouse on Saturday night was well attended and following the gala prizegiving members and guests boogied the night away to live music.

The Paul Noonan Memorial Trophy, Four Ball, Better Ball Mixed Competition played yesterday Sunday 2nd September in very hot weather produced some equally hot scores with Marion Judge and Brendan Young claiming the Trophy with a spectacular 48 points. Anne McAdams and Seamus Horgan came in 2nd with 44 points and still dizzy from her fantastic win in the President's Prize Caroline Hill and Nigel Hill came in 3rd with 43 points.

Well done to Captains Jim & Emily for organising another successful Thursday night social. It was a full timesheet with lots of visitors who alll thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ afterwards. Thanks to Vice Captains Brendan & Anne and everyone who helped out on the night.
