Congratulations President Dodie!! A great day had by all attending your Presidents away day in Rathfarnham Golf Club. Sunshine and a beautiful course provided the setting for a golfing day out, followed by an excellent meal in the company of friends. Full marks and many thanks to Dodie and her team of helpers and organisers.

It was a rare treat to have a warm, sunny Thursday for the social competition and the club was buzzing with members and visitors. Many thaks to Brendan, Anne, Dan, and Aine for organising another enjoyable social and many thanks also to all the chefs and helpers once again.
The KGC Ladies Bloom Team won 3/3 on Friday last in the second leg of their match, playing Carrickmines at home. Carrying one away win the ladies required 2.5 at home. Congratulations to the team and the managers on this fantastic win. Thanks to all supporters on the day.
KGC Ladies Minor Cup Team delivered a wonderful victory at Lisheen Springs on Sunday. In challenging windy and wet conditions, the team came out on top beating Dun Laoghaire on a course that looked significantly better suited to the opposition. A tense afternoon of golf was wrapped up with three late wins on 16 and 17 for Kilmashogue.
Another fine day of golf golf in tricky wind and course conditions. A full time sheet made for a great social and competitive event. Thanks to all for taking part and congratulations to winners below.
KCG ladies pulled off a comprehensive 3rd round win on Sunday, against Greystones at The Grange. Team playing – Emily, Deirdra, Mary G, Dinka and Marian, Manager Breda. A fantastic team performance saw early finishes for three teams on 15 and 17, with remaining matches called in.
A splendid day of golf at home on Sunday as Kilmashogue hosted their ILGU Neutral Venue Day.
KGC Ladies Intermediate Team lost out to Greystones on Sunday at Charlesland. As always and as expected, KGC put up a great fight with little between the two teams. It was a great afternoon of fierce and competitive golf with matches finishing on 17,18 and 20. Well done to players Anne-Marie, Anne T, Susan, Geraldine and Alison. Thanks also to Manager Caroline, caddies and supporters President Dodie, Captain Anne, Captain Brendan and Carol who made the trip out on a busy day of matches and ILGU Neutral Venue activity at the club.
Mark Donovan has led this team to 3 great wins in a row over RD 1 Dun Laoghaire 4-1, RD2 Bray 2-3, and now RD3 Powerscourt 2-3.

KGC will welcome 8 visiting teams as a neutral venue for the ILGU cup and shield matches on Sumday 26th May 2019. Course will be closed to members on that day.
