Kilmashogue Golf Club was founded or (indeed re-founded) in 1995 having last been in existence in 1911. Located in the grounds of St. Columba's College, Rathfarnham, the renowned educational establishment, and nestles in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains. The revival of Kilmashogue was driven by Peter Jackson of the College. Since 1995 the Club has made major advances, not only in terms of the Course, but also the new Clubhouse which opened to the Members in 2005.
Rathfarnham has possibly the highest density of golf clubs in the country. In close proximity to Kilmashogue, we have no fewer than 6 clubs - Castle, Rathfarnham, Edmondstown, Grange, Ballinascorney and our next door neighbours, Stackstown, the home of Irish golfing legend, and multiple Major winner, Padraig Harrington.
